Hi! I’m Anastasia—co-founder of Olives and Grains, guardian of operations, enthusiastic seed-planter (literally and metaphorically), and proud mom (with baby #2 en route!).
If you’ve ever stepped into our little world of Olives and Grains, you’ve felt the energy: a mix of intention, warmth, a bit of organized chaos—and above all, heart. That’s my lane. I’m the behind-the-scenes wizard making sure things not only work but flow, like olive oil over a fresh garden salad (sorry, I had to).
From Family Kitchens to Community Tables
My journey started with flour on my hands and wore many hats—working side-by-side with my father in our family restaurant for over a decade. It was everything you’d imagine: loud, messy, beautiful, and at times, heartbreakingly hard. There were moments that cracked me wide open… but instead of falling apart, I rebuilt. Stronger. Wiser. More grounded. Grateful and thankful would be an understatement for those who know me because I truly grew in ways I never could have imagined.
That restaurant taught me how to trust my gut—literally and figuratively. It showed me that there’s always a way through. That problems aren’t roadblocks, they’re puzzles. And maybe most importantly, that perfection is overrated. The real magic? It’s in the mess, the process, the humans we share it with.
Passion Projects & Daily Poetry
I’ve always been the kind of person who gets way too excited about “little” things: a well-labeled pantry, a freshly organized supply closet, a perfectly ripe tomato. Some say I romanticize everyday life—I say, what else is it for?
Every project I touch, every connection I make, every “small” moment—I pour love into it. Whether it’s sourcing the best ingredients for our OG family or helping a team member figure out their flow, I believe beauty lives in the basics. You just have to look.
Now? I'm Building for More Than Me
Becoming a mother lit a new fire in me. It’s like suddenly, I wasn’t just building a business—I was building a legacy. Something my children, my friends, my OG community could be proud of. Something rooted, intentional, and deeply alive.
Now, expecting my second bundle of joy, I’m even more obsessed with creating spaces—physical and emotional—that nourish, uplift, and grow people.
So Why OG?
Because it’s not just a brand. It’s an extension of who I am. Olives and Grains is where seeds are planted—ideas, relationships, visions—and with a little grit and a lot of love, they bloom.
My sisters and I are not chasing trends. We’re cultivating culture. One conversation, one ingredient, one wild and wonderful day at a time.
And I’m just getting started.
Love,
