A Year of Growth, Grit, and a Very Unexpected Plot Twist
If you had told me last year that I’d be navigating our first official year in business with a toddler at home and an unexpected pregnancy at the same time, I probably would’ve laughed… then cried… then laughed again. (That became a bit of a theme this year.)
When we launched into this wild adventure, our focus was simple: show up, give it everything, and build something we’re proud of. What I didn’t expect was doing all of that with a growing belly, nausea, and a level of energy I’m pretty sure came from equal parts adrenaline and sheer stubbornness.
This year was filled with pop-ups, market days, long hours, and countless moments where the three of us partners were running purely on passion (and maybe questionable levels of caffeine).
For me, one of the biggest highlights was showing up to each pop-up right until the very last stretch of my pregnancy. Picture me: belly leading the way, hands full, trying to squeeze behind tables that were definitely not pregnancy-friendly. But honestly? Those were some of my happiest days.
Meeting our customers face-to-face, getting to hear your stories, watching people try our products for the first time—those are the moments that fueled me. Those connections are what made every long day feel worth it. It still blows my mind how many beautiful humans we’ve met through this journey.
The Hard Stuff No One Really Talks About
Of course, it wasn’t all smooth sailing and glowing maternity moments. This industry is demanding. It’s competitive, fast-moving, and it requires a kind of consistency that can feel overwhelming at times—especially when you’re trying to figure out where you fit and how to stay uniquely “you” in a space full of noise.
I learned very quickly that showing up authentically takes just as much courage as showing up at all. And that it’s okay to feel stretched thin (literally and figuratively).
What I’m Manifesting for the New Year
Going into this year, my personal goal in the company is simple but meaningful: to deepen our connections.
I want to create opportunities to learn from industry professionals, attend conferences, and put together small informative snippets that help our customers understand all the good, real, tangible benefits our products offer. The more knowledge we can share, the stronger and more empowered our community becomes—and that matters so much to me.
Thank You, Truly
Most importantly, I want to thank you—our community. You encouraged us, supported us, cheered us on, and allowed us to keep doing what we love. Whether you stopped by a pop-up, shared a post, sent a message, or simply brought good energy our way—you’ve been part of this story.
And for me, this year wasn’t just about growing a business. It was about growing a life, growing a dream, and growing alongside a community that believes in us.
Here’s to more connection, more learning, more laughter, and maybe… a little less chaos.
With so much gratitude,
Anastasia
