Welcome back ! 🫒
Before we take you on our journey around the world, we wanted to share the story of where it all began. For us, Montreal has always been home—a city vibrant with diversity and full of endless inspiration. It’s the place where we first learned to appreciate the beauty of local.
Montreal has always celebrated its artisans, its makers, and the stories behind every product.
But while Montreal will always have our hearts, our story runs even deeper—back to our Greek roots. It was on family visits to Greece that everything truly came together for us. There, we were swept up in the warmth of the people, the beauty of the land, and, of course, the food.
The vibrant, fresh ingredients, the age-old recipes passed down through generations, and the incredible dedication of the local farmers and makers—we knew we had to bring a piece of that magic back with us.
The food wasn’t just something to eat; it was a connection to the land, to the culture, and to the people. Every meal told a story of tradition, of care, and of a life lived in harmony with nature. We fell in love with the idea that food could be so much more than just nourishment—it could be an experience, a connection, a celebration of life.
And yet, as much as we were captivated by the flavors of Greece, there was something else that added a special magic to the meals we had growing up in Montreal. It was the little extras, the goodies that our parents would bring back from their hometowns, treasures straight from the hands of their neighbors. The sun-ripened fruits, homemade olive oil, the freshly handpicked walnuts and the artisanal cheeses that were made with love—these ingredients always seemed to make our parents’ creations taste even better.
It was as though the meals were infused with not only the flavors of the land but with the stories, friendships, and traditions that came with each carefully chosen ingredient.
Those tastes, those connections, became a part of us. And as we grew, we realized how deeply intertwined food and memories are. They are what keep us rooted, no matter where life takes us.
We wanted to bring that same feeling to the world—the simple, beautiful, honest flavors that come from real people, real places, and real traditions.
And that’s when we knew: we wanted to share this with the world.
Stay tuned as we take you on our culinary journey and show you how every dish can be more than just a meal—it can be a bridge to the past, a connection to others, and a celebration of the richness life has to offer.
With love,
The O&G Sisters
